Restore clone of files and db seemed to work fine.
The backend works perfectly...

The front end is really broken as all articles have extra 'rn' char as follows:

rn
rnAn information sheet (important to read) can be downloaded herern
rn

source is MySQL 4.1.18 utf8 collation general_ci
clone is MySQL 4.1.21 utf8 collation general_ci
(it was orginally collation unicode_ci ..same prob)

i've tried making MySQL settings inactive and using drop syntax, with same problem.

also getting component, layout and font problems
