Since upgrading to 1.8.2 (from 1.6.1) I cannot have the mysqldump option set to active, or I get an error. With it not set to Active, the backup works fine.

Is there any problem (or drawback) to not using mysqldump?

Thanks,
Bob

Hi there! There is no problem in not having mysqldump server utility Active, the mysql backup will still get created by using php functions!

Regards, Ovidiu
