I run a couple of websites that are over 200Mb in size. I find that I can not backup these sites with JoomlaCloner, as it gets to about 30-40Mb and then crashes out with a "server internal error". The site is not damaged when this happens.

The component works OK for me with zip file backups of less than 30Mb, so I know that it is operating.

I have done a search of the forum, but I can't find an answer to this one. Can anyone help?

Hi there! The problem you are having is because of a server time limitation! To fix this, you need to set 'Manual Backup' option to Yes in your JoomlaCloner Configuration then try to generate the backup again!

Let me know if you still have problems! Ovidiu

That looks as though it has worked. Just backed up a 40Mb tar file. Thank you so much for your quick responses - my heart rate has dropped considerably, now that I can do a good backup.
