i wonder if anyone can help - i am stuck at running the installer on the new server.
The files cloned over to the new server no problem.
I think i have issues with the new server paths - the account is with network solutions.
Warning: mysql_connect(): Lost connection to MySQL server during query in /data/10/1/87/12/1087827/user/1133059/htdocs/Joomla.Cloner.php on line 207
Warning: mysql_select_db(): Can't connect to local MySQL server through socket '/tmp/mysql.sock' (2) in /data/10/1/87/12/1087827/user/1133059/htdocs/Joomla.Cloner.php on line 209
Warning: mysql_select_db(): A link to the server could not be established
I am thinking i have the wrong username and database selected usually i would use something like:
localhost
useraccount_username
password
useraccount_database
but the structure appears to be just
localhost
username
password
database
i also wanted to put joomla in the root directory but it would not let me chmod the /htdocs folder
my client is getting extremely agitated... they never told us that they wanted the account on network solutions either - They told us after we finished the site!!! It has over 100+ pages and is in both english and spanish other than entering all the content again joomlaclooner is my last hope! 🙁
any help greatly appreciated

Hi there! The mysql details are ok however the server might not be accepting the long list of queries!
What i suggest is that you try to check on the Joomla.Cloner.php screen the "import with mysql server utility " checkbox and see how it goes!
If you still have problems, open a ticket with us http://www.joomlaplu.....Itemid,43/, and send me the ftp and mysql details to that location and i will help you!
