Hello,
I like the Joomla Cloner and it worked many times fine for me, but today I get a difficult situation. I have to backup and clone a site with about 800 MB content and in the future this site will go up to 5 GB and more.
I set the php time out up to 3600 secondes and increased the memory up to 256 MB. I selected .tar and mysql import. The creation of the archive was fine and caused no problems. When I try to clone JoomlaCloner say everything is o.k. and he has finished.
A look to my directories shows me some problems. Not all folder where build and I'm missing a lot of files. What can I do.
After this I tried
- zip instead of tar
- manual backup
- decrease files in session
- inactivation server use for zip/tar/mysql
- direct transfer, ftp
and many things more...
System: Joomla 1.0.13, JoomlaCloner 1.9.2, PHP 4.4.4, LINUX Business Edition 2.0, Opteron™ 165 (Dual-Core), 2 GB RAM, 2 x 250 GB HDD, RAID LEVEL 1
Help is welcome... Thanks!
Jürgen

Hi there! Have you checked if you have enough free webspace on your site to store a large backup, one that could fit your whole site in?
I suggest you use these settings in your backup process:
1. uncheck both 'Active checkboxes'
2. set 'Backup type' to TAR
3. set 'Manual Backup' to Yes
If you still have problems, please open a support ticket and send us your Joomla admin details and url to check the process! Ovidiu
