Can you tell me what would cause this error? Do I need to have the host increase memory?

Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 16777216 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 8977679 bytes) in /vservers/baischan/htdocs/administrator/includes/pcl/pclzip.lib.php on line 2379

I've not had any problems doing backups on this site. Just now I'm getting this error.

You seem to run into a memory_limit issue, I suggest you either increase the memory_limit variable from yourt site php.ini to a larger value than 16M, try 32M, or simply change the backup type to TAR in your JoomlaCloner Configuration! Ovidiu
