I need to clone from my current ISP to my new ISP.
My new ISP has set up everything I need to fill in
the JC configuration with the same IP as my old ISP.
So, for example, the FTP server has exactly the same
form on both i.e. http://ftp.new_server.com. So if I FTP
now it goes to my old ISP not my new one.
My plan is to redirect the nameservers for my domain
name to my new ISP. Then hopefully when I configure
JC cloning the system will be pointing to my new ISP
and not at itself (i.e. my old ISP). I will access
the old ISP to do this via a temporary URL (i.e. the
one to which my nameservers are currently pointing).
Any better suggestions? Can anyone see any possible
problems? TIA Lloyd.

Hi there! All should be ok, the steps you would need to follow are something like this:
1. after the nameservers are propagated to the new server, you need to get the backup and restore script and copy them to the new server in the restore location as specified in our FAQ here http://www.joomlaplu...../catid,26/
2. after that, launch the Joomla.Cloner.php screen and follow the restore screen
For any urgent problems, please open a ticket and we will help you! Regards, Ovidiu
