When do a restore I get the message below. Before I started this restore I did a test restore of the same zip backup in a test domain on the same server and it worked OK. Suggestions appreciated.

Permissions restored to their initial value...

Files succesfully copied to /home/peachtre/public_html/

Warning: fopen(/home/peachtre/public_html//configuration.php) [function.fopen]: failed to open stream: Permission denied in /home/peachtre/public_html/Joomla.Cloner.php on line 707
Unable to write to configuration file /home/peachtre/public_html//configuration.php... Aborting...

Hi there! Did you had any files before you started the restore process in that directory? I am interested specially in the configuration.php file! You need to change it's permissions to 777 then try again!

Also, are you using the latest versions of JoomlaCloner restore script? If not, i would suggest you download the component, and get the updated restore script from directory restore/ inside the JoomlaCloner archive!

Let me know if you still have problems! Ovidiu

Hi,

I'm having issues restoring my website. I'm transferring my website to an external host (hostica.com) and get the following error when I try to execute the Joomla.Cloner.php script on my backup file

"Connected to webXX.hostica.com, for user xxxxxx, starting transfer...

Unable to write to directory /hsphere/local/home/xxxxx/xxxxx.com/archive_tmp/! Please check that this directory is writeable!"

I FTP into the hostica servers where my home directory and files are, and made sure the permissions on the directories are 777, but still no go!

Hopefully someone can help! aargh!

Kevin
