Hello.
All the posts I've read so far indicate the primary use for most people is to backup and restore to a different site.
How about restoring to the exact same site and overwriting the old files.
Is the procedure the same? Cloning to that location and then using the script?

HI there! Yes, the procedure is pretty much the same, you copy the backup archive and the restore script we provide and start the Joomla.Cloner.php restore script to follow the onscreen restore options!
