We've been very pleased with JoomlaCloner, using it for backups plus moving from test server to live.

However, I just installed JACL 1.0.12 onto Joomla 1.0.12, doing a backup before the install, and now tried to do one after, and I get:

Backup failed! Please check that you have support for the zip utility(/usr/bin/zip or /usr/local/bin/zip) on your server and the path you set it's corect in Configuration, or choose the Tar archive type!

(btw, "corect" should be spelled "correct").

The only thing I did was to add two Access Levels before trying to save.

Any ideas?

Hi there! Have you tried changing the 'Backup type' option to TAR in JoomlaCloner configuration? If you still have problems, i suggest you simply uncheck the 'Active' checkbox near the zip/tar line then try again!
