Hi night-owls,

I recently switched to XCloner. The product seems to be done nicely, as well as previous Joomla Cloner.

I am simple experiencing, that running a compressed backup takes an really long time, rather hours then minutes (I ticked "Compress backup files: YES " ). No I wonder if there is another more efficient way to do the same thing?

Might this be a performance issue of the server?

Thanks in advanve for you reply.

You could try checking the "Active" checkbox near your tar line in XCloner Config and see if it helps!

The speed of the compressing process is indeed related to the server resources allocated to your site, so that might affect the processing time
