Hi
Sorry if this is covered elsewhere but I can't find a direct answer.
I have two sites mydomain.org and mydomain.co.uk. Joomlaclone is installed on the mydomain.org site which is my operational site. Mydomain.co.uk is used a trial site and I have successfully cloned my working site from mydomain.org onto the .co.uk site. If I install additional components, try out other templates etc and make content changes can I reverse the cloning process and put the updated version back onto the mydomain.org site. I can't see how I would create a new backup from the .co.uk site to restore to the .org site.
I'm probably missing a point somewhere and would appreciate your help
I've really found this component useful for backing up and restoring but would like to use it as described.
Best wishes

Hi there! The reverse cloning process implies the same steps, first create a backup on the .co.uk site, move it and restore it on the .org site! However restoring a backup will also imply that you overwrite any existing changes made on the main site with the one from the dev, so you need to pay attention there!
The component was designed to serve as backup and restore solution, however it was not designed as an update component which is a totally different process!
Regards! Ovidiu
