restore all directories 755 and files 644

When I take over managing someones Joomla site, I often move it to a preferred host. When restoring the site, I would like to restore all directories with permissions 755 and files 644. For some reason when I tell it to ignore original permissions (not restore them) sometimes it will go with the server default and other times not. Is there a way, or a Joomla.Cloner.php script mod, that will just force this so that I don't have to recursively fix it later.

Thanks,

David

Hi there! If you uncheck the "restore files permissions" from the Joomla.Cloner.php then the original permissions won't be restored, however not all servers have as defaults 755 and 644 for directories and files!

Anyway if you think there is still a problem, please open a ticket and send us the ftp details to the restore location where you want to restore a backup to see if we can find the issue!

Regards, Ovidiu
