Ovidu,

I've got this message, and start searching the support forum, where I found this topic:

/support/forums/report-bugs/error-json-data/?value=There was an error retrieving the JSON data from the server, try again or contact the developers&type=1&include=1&search=1&ret=all

So I tried changing "Backup Refresh Mode" to Normal but this stayed the same.

Then I went via ftp to my backup directory and saw that my first backups were about 30Mb and then all of a sudden they started to become about 135Mb.

I went to check if the backup directory was included in the backups and it was not.

Then I removed all backups from the backup directory and the backup worked again and was 30Mb, so I have the impression that he is backing up the backup directory even when it is set in the settings not to.

Is the Backup store path pointing to another directory than the default one? Backup from the Store path are usually excluded, try and check the administrator/backups/perm.txt file to see which files are included there.

Ovidiu,

I'm using the default settings nothing changed to that myself.

In the administrator/backups/ there is no perm.txt file the only files I have are:

.oversized_files

.database

.dir

index.html

and 2 backup files

I also took a 2nd backup and the first one is included.

Regards,

Jurgen

Hmm, could you post a screenshot of the XCloner Config System tab? If the refresh mode is set to Normal, the ajax error should not be present, at least not that. Also, do you have any custom .htaccess rules that might be blocking the json request? try adding a RewriteEngine Off directive in a .htaccess file inside the xcloner plugin folder and see if it helps.
