Hi Dave, i have posted a message in the Installation instructions, what happens is that the wp-content/plugins/xcloner-backup-and-restore/cloner.config.php gets overwritten with the new one, if you have a backup, you can retreive the old config file from there and overwrite the new one to get back your settings.

But I shouldn't need to do this. Why overwrite the file at all? Retrieving the backup is as time consuming (or more so) than just re-entering my information.
I have over 100 blogs I'm using this on. Doing this on every blog is WAY more time consuming than it needs to be when you could simply NOT upload the file in the first place and have the code create it (which it must be doing anyhow).
From what i understand, when doing the automatic plugin upgrade, wordpress actually removes the old files and then uploads the new version of the plugin, so doing this won't actually help much.
Best way would be probably to store the config file outside the plugin folder, we will think it though and try to find a fix for the future versions.
