OfflineSo I now have a working backup and I wanted to clone it. For a few days now it has been giving me this error below. It loads for a little while (maybe 30 seconds), then it just stops and you see the page below. I really need this to work. It works if I just go and upload all the files to the ftp and then start the XCloner.php but I want to use the interface.
The first screen is from where I didn't have the right permissions on the folder yet and I named the folder just /public_html in the settings of XClone + incremental mode
In this next one I had /public_html/, had 777 as permission and didn't use incremental mode
What is the magic recipe for it to work again? I already had it working once, I didn't change anything on the blog, except installing another plugin. Made a new backup, which finally worked and now I can't clone it ._.
Edit:
This is what it looks like after a while of cloning and the "errors" from above:
Opening XCloner.php tells me:
Internal Server Error
The server encountered an internal error or
misconfiguration and was unable to complete
your request.
Please contact the server administrator,
[email protected] and inform them of the time the error occurred,
and anything you might have done that may have
caused the error.
More information about this error may be available
in the server error log.
Additionally, a 404 Not Found
error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.

OfflineYou can fix the 500 error by applying 755 permissions on your public_html restore folder.
As for the ftp transfer, try and set the "Ftp transfer mode" option to Passive in your XCloner Config->System tab and see if you have anymore issues. Just a note, if you are not using the incremental ftp transfer and you get a timeout, you might need to contact your hosting support to increase the scripts maximum execution time.
Hope it helps! Ovidiu

OfflineThank you. I got it working now for ONE blog. Now I want to clone to another one and it's literally doing nothing. I hit "clone" after typing in all the details and the next page is empty where normally the percentages would be. I love your program but it just does not seem to keep working for a period longer than 5 minutes. I need to clone 87 more blogs and I just can't figure out why it does not work properly at first almost every time ):

OfflineThe clone button option is simply a ftp transfer procedure of the backup archive and restore script to the new host, and it could be affected by the hosting server firewall settings, try and set the "Ftp transfer mode" to Passive in your XCloner Config System tab and see if it helps.
Otherwise, i advise following this restore wiki /wiki/index.php/Restore_Backup#Restore_Backup_.E2.80.93_Manually , it should help!
