hello,
I have a pb with installing a backup in a new folder on my server
Install via the
browser with archive.zip + TAR.php + Xcloner in the folder
when I click on the link all shoulds be done! Click here
to continue ... at the last step, the site is displayed correctly.
But
impossible to get to the admin and all links gives me a 404
error.
Would you know where is the problem ?
Thank you for your
help;-)

Hi Val, I have 3 things in mind, what you could try:
1) Exclude the .htaccess from the backup when generating the backup, see tab "File Options" (or save/restore the original .htaccess file in the destination directory using seperate ftp connection before/after cloning)
2) Same as for .htaccess for wp-config.php too (maybe you have overwritten your database connection)
3) When the dialog for entering the "Transfer Details" opens, then access the database from your server administration and delete all tables from the database, then continue with XCloner

Hello,
Arf ! It doesn't work too
I always get this message :
Â
Not Found
The requested URL /index.php was not found on this server.
Additionally, a 404 Not Found
error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.

I dont understand because I've already make 2 or 3 clone or restaure and all was ok !
But now, I've tested with 2 differents sites and both, links are broken
I must forget something or make something wrong but I don't know what.
Have you an idea ?
Thanks for your help
