Hi Ovidiu
I'm just built a new site and restored it to its final resting place. I was doing a backup of the new "live" site and although XCloner said the total backup size will be 40Mb, the back up file size was only 1.5kb. Can you please advise as to what may be happening and how to correct it?

Hi Andy, did you make any changes to the default XCloner settings? How much disk space is there avaiable on your hosting account?

Here's the settings:
- FTP Transfer Mode: Direct
- FTP Connection Mode: Normal
- Files to process per request: 100
- Database records per request: 10,000
- Exclude files larger than: 1033 Mb - I just updated this one
- Split Backup Archive if size larger than: 2048 Mb
- Time between requests: 1 ms
- Compress backup files: No
- Backup Refresh Mode: AJAX
- Enable log: No
On the XCloner start up screen, the following are all "ok":
- Backup Start Path Check: OK
- Backup Store Path Check: OK
- Temporary Path Check: OK
- Authentication: OK
PHP Config settings are:
- PHP Version Check: 5.2.17
- Php Safe_mode: Off
- Php max_execution_time: 3600
- Php memory_limit: 64M
- Php open_basedir: no value
- exec() function support: ENABLED
General paths info:
- Temporary Folder: Writable
- Backup Start Path: Readable
- Backup Path: Writable
There is 150Gb of space in the hosting account. Its only a very simple WP site.

Please excuse my stupidity but which setting in the cloner.config.php file do I change to disable exec() support?

Uncheck the "Backup using Server Functions" option so the Active chekbox is blue for both tar and mysqldump

Hi all,
I still have the same problem.
Just restored a site to another host.
All my settings look green.
The backup runs normally: the database gives a 6+mb size; the number of files are 3868.
Still the backup size is only 1.5kb
What am I missing here?

Could you post here a screenshot after your XCloner Config first tab and Info tab?
