hi
I made a clone of a wordpress to a new site with ftp transfer that went ok but
just at the end I got requested URL /xcloner.php was not found on this server
when I got with winscp the file is there with the tar backup and the tar.php
xcloner is installed on both sites and with the same paths on both sites.

Make sure you type in the correct filename with upper case letters like XCloner.php

I downloaded your WP Plugin just in the nick of time to clone my site prior to account suspension by my webhost. The tar backup file is present on the new server, but the tar.php and XCloner.php files are NOT! And now my previous site has been deleted.
How will I restore my site on the new server now?

Simply get the restore script from the xcloner original package, extract it and look in directory xcloner-backup-and-restore/restore/ , you should see there the 2 restore script files TAR.php and XCloner.php .

Thanks Ovidiu! So I found the files I needed and put them in the right place. But when I went to run the restore from XCloner.php... it would begin processing and go to a blank page at 11% (this happened more than once). I don't know what to do now.

It could be a memory issue, try increasing the site php.ini memory_limit to a larger value and see if it helps. Otherwise, i would suggest extracting the backup archive manually and restart the restore process with the "skip files restore" option checked.

That did it!! I have no idea how I could possibly thank you for the countless hours that would have been lost without your software and your help. I have the same problem and I don't understand where I need to change this

For me, the Clone is ok.
All files are on the new server (backup... .tar/TAR.php/XCloner.php) and I've this message on my admin :

The requested URL /XCloner.php was not found on this server.
Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.
