So I have finally backed up the site, cloned it to the new server, and restored the site on the new server. Now when I go to the site to test it: http://184.168.88.14.....kcric/ it automatically downloads a download file. does anyone know why this is happening>

Ok, so I just had a break through... i typed in /index.php and it took me to the site. I AM STOKED!!! Where do I configure my site to look at that as the default when I type in 184.168.88.148/~pinkcric/ ? I will be trying to figure out how to change the IP to the http://www.pinkcricut.com tomorrow.... but until then what should I be looking for?

I have now gotten the site live and I can navigate it, but I cannot access the admin side. When I check the Database, none of the User tables were backed up. Do you know why this might have happened?
So I went ahead and created a new WP DB and imported the missing tables, unfortunately the site is still looking at the original host for all its redirects, i.e. pinkcricut.com instead of 184.168.88.148/~pinkcric/
I followed the steps laid out in this http://codex.wordpre.....ouble but I cannot seem to locate the new problem.
Any ideas?
Permalinks urls won't work because of your temporary url structure, notice the ~ inside it! I would advise disabling those if you plan to work on the site in this state.
Regarding the login issue, do you get any errors or it will simply not log you in? The table related to users in wordpress is wp_users, to check if it was included in the backup, you can open the administrator/backups/database-sql.sql file inside the backup archive and see if it's there
