I have just installed xclone, all looks very good. But I am getting this error on attempting my first backup:
Details: parsererror — Invalid JSON: TAR error: Unable to open file 'wp-content/themes/striking/includes/timthumb.php.BACKUP' in binary read mode

I have now found that if I exclude the file itcontinues until it finds another instance of this file, I believ it it an image resizer. So now the backup is successul, but why didn't it work with these files?
I am not using compression, what else could it be?

Hi Liz, it seems XCloner is not allowed to access that file marked in red for reading, so the only solution would be to exclude unless you are able to adjust it's permissions, i am guessing it's a temporary file?
