OfflineI have the XCloner back up feature running on a cron job on my site http://rheumatoidart.....eatment.us. It runs perfectly on all my other sites but on this site every time it tries to send a backup via email I get this message:
<b>Fatal error</b>: Allowed memory size of 67108864 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 26599919 bytes) in <b>/home/ab1134/public_html/wp-content/plugins/xcloner-backup-and-restore/cloner.cron.php</b> on line <b>460</b><br />
I've told it to split back up archives if they're bigger than 15 MB but that doesn't seem to help.
Is it possibly to fix this or is the site just too big?
Sending a backup via email means the process will try to allocate as much memory as the backup size, so if the backup size it's 100MB, it will try to allow 100MB of memory, and your current limit is 64M. Most email servers won't however accept attachments larger than 20-30MB, so you should consider an alternative transfer method.
However, to fix the issue above you simply need to increase your site php.ini memory_limit to a larger value if allowed.
