I do not know why this is can any one help??

I have created a wordpress site on using Microsoft Webmatrix and I a now trying to mopre it to my Live host.

Below is what isdisplayed staing that the backup is comple:

Hi Mark, the backup type is .tar and can be easily exctracted with an archive client like 7-Zip. From what i see above, the backup file is 82.96 and it seems you have a complete backup there.

I have tried t use 7-zip but it does not work. Below is a screen dump of file in the folder.

As you can see it is not a
proper folder or file? Do you have any suggestions why?

That looks indeed pretty weird, how much disk space do you have available on your localhost site?
