As the title says, my site no longer loads after performing a backup.
I can access files and locations on the server that do not require wordpress, and can connect via ftp, but something has made a change to my files and the site just hangs.
I installed xcloner and did a backup. The first one i tried including information_schema but got the json error, so i did another backup of just the wordpress db and it worked fine. I then downloaded the file. Whilst the file was downloading I noticed I could no longer access my wordpress site
I read that the backup doesnt change any files, only writes to a backup folder, but something has caused a issue somewhere?
Any thoughts?

The site has started working again, no idea what the problem was. I did reupload my htaccess which looks like it may have fixed the issue.

Usually what happens is that the server will only respond to a new request when the existing one is finished, so thinking you were downloading a backup, you might need to wait for that to finish, the site however should work fine for the other users meanwhile.
