Hi, just finished a wordpress site offline and cloned it to a vanilla, base wordpress site online. But the entire site still points to the localhost. Can't even log into admin, since the admin page points to the localhost too.
My process is:
1. Create site offline and create backup.
2. Create online DB with DB user access
3. Create online Wordpress install linked to the online DB in step 3.
4. Install xcloner
5. FTP the backup from step 1. into the online directory.
6. Clone the website, entering the new online DB details.
7. Wonder where it all went wrong.
I'm sure I've used xlconer successfully before, was there a trick to it or some step missing? By the way, I am installing websites into a subdomain. I hope that is not an issue with xcloner.

Yes, I received a success confirmation message. In the eyes of the system, everything was cloned well.
However:
When I try to log into the online wp-admin, I find that the login page has been redirected to the localhost.
http://localhost/anh.....8;reauth=1
Whereas, it should just be:
http://bkodesigns.co.....b/wp-admin
Also:
All the links in the online website, point to the localhost addresses.
Try and follow the steps indicated here for changing your site url http://codex.wordpre.....e_URL and see if it helps, additionally, you might want to clear your wp-config.php file of any localhost url references...
