Make sure you first select the backup you want to clone inside the View backups screen, and after make sure the ftp upload path is correct for that ftp user.

If it still doesn't help, check our restore wiki, we have other methods to complete the restore.

Regards, Ovidiu

Thanks, I'll try that. However, does it matter that I am Cloning and not Restoring?

As i mentioned in my previous post, you need to recheck the ftp upload path, that seems incorrect! Ovidiu

Does XCloner need to be installed in the destination directory? I am sure my path is correct, but it keeps telling me that it can't find XCloner.php... sorry for the multiple questions - as you can tell I am somewhat of a newbie...

No, XCloner doesn't not need to be installed, and neither Wordpress, the error you have there is a ftp upload error!

Ok, I am getting so close it's crazy! After it copies the backup file to the new directory and asks me to "click here to continue", I get an "Internal Server Error". I waited awhile and tried again, but still get the same message. Anything I am still doing wrong?

What a great program! I was able clone it to another site, but am still wondering why I received the internal server error for the other site (all on the same host). Thanks, Roy

Well, it seems to work great now! I simply removed my subdomain and ftp account and reinstalled them and everything works fine. Thanks for a great program!
