Can you please provide some examples of excluding folders/directories when using a Cron job
** When excluding a single folder, will the following work?
$_CONFIG['cron_exclude']="………/wp-content/uploads/2013/03";
** For multiple folders, can wild cards be used in the name?
** Can there be a list of folder names? What is the syntax?
e.g. will the following work? Do there need to be more quotes or commas?
$_CONFIG['cron_exclude']="………/wp-content/uploads/2013/03
………/wp-content/uploads/2013/04
………/wp-content/uploads/2013/05";
(I am looking for a way to reduce the size of my backup by excluding everything in uploads – having a separate mechanism for backing up uploads.)

Please use the frontend interface of the Cron file exclude and do a sample config, you will see the output inside the saved config file. At the moment, wildcards are not supported, but yes, you can exclude multiple folders at a time, usually they are separate by line break.
