Hi,
I've been looking for information how to schedule backups and I don't get it.
I understand that I should make a crontab file, so I follow the instructions here: https://docs.xcloner.com/#/
"It can look like this:
15 11 1 3 1 /home/username/www/mycronjob.php "
But what is this mycronjob.php? I don't have anything in my configs/ -folder. Should I create mycronjob.php and what should it contain?
Thanks in advance.
Hi there! For wordpress, the cron command would be
"php /home/.../wordpress_root/wp-content/plugins/xcloner-backup-and-restore/cloner.cron.php"
or
"php /home/.../wordpress_root/wp-content/plugins/xcloner-backup-and-restore/cloner.cron.php myconfig.php"
if you are using myconfig are saved cron config
So, for you, the crontab line would look like:
15 11 1 3 1 php /home/.../wordpress_root/wp-content/plugins/xcloner-backup-and-restore/cloner.cron.php mycronjob.php
Note that the "/home/.../wordpress_root/" path is the full server path to your wordpress root
Hope it helps! Ovidiu

BTW, there's a small typo in those instructions I believe. Here:
Option 2 – SSH or Telnet
1. Create your crontab file (as described above) in Notepad. Make
sure to have wordwrap turned off and press enter once (to create a
blank line after the cron job line).
2. Save the file as cron.txt.
3. Upload the file to your root directory.
4. Use SSH or Telnet software to connect to your server (PuTTY (http://www.putty.org) is a free open source SSH and Telnet client)
5. Type the following at the command prompt: crobtab cron.txt
The last line, shouldn't it be crontab cron.txt?
