Hi
I'm getting this error repeadetley when trying to install a local Wordpress site to a live test domain.

I'm certain that the database files are in the .tar file as it's the same size once uploaded as the locally produced version.

xCloner does import all the images and the stylesheet but the website database tables don't make it into phpMyAdmin.

If I select Skip files restore to restore only the database I get a Database details provided are incorrect... error message

I've deleted all databases via phpMyAdmin deleted all instances of Wordpress via cPanel and tried to reinstall but still get the same error.

Am I missing something?

Are the mysql restore details correct? They should be created first on your new restore location

Hi Ovidiu.

Yes I double checked the database settings on the domain that I'm trying to install the worpress site to (I copy asnd paste them from the downloaded wp-config.php file.

I click the Import mysql database button then enter the details from the downloaded wp-config.php file then click the Start Install button it goes through the percentage count up process of installing then when it's complete I get the same message Database import skipped! I've tried many different settings, if I have skip files checked it does the same install but then I get the duplicate table dialogue error but I'm pretty sure that the tables that are duplicated are default wp ones not ones from my website. An example of one of the errors is below

###MYSQL error

Table 'wp_links' already exists

###On Query:

I'm going to try and manually import the database via phpMyAdmin. If that works it would mean that there's an error somewhere in the process that I'm using with xCloner!

Richard.

That error usually indicates your database is not empty, so try dropping first all tables or create a new database, and restart the restore process....

Thanks Ovidiu and sorry for the late reply yes dropping all tables from the database fixed it sorry for not picking that up sooner!
