Error 500 if I try to clone the site

Hi there,
I' trying to clone my blog. I did a backup and it worked. Than I tried to clone the backup to the new webspace and URL. But the connection could't be established. Then I tried it manually and copied the extracted backup to the new webspace. When I try to reach the XCloner.php on the new webspace, I always get a 500 Error. I already switched the rights to 777. What can I do???

Switch permissions back to 755 and it should work. As for the connection error, i am guessing it's the mysql connection error, in which case i would advise to check that the mysql user, pass and server name are correct and exist on the new host.
