This seems to be a minor bug, but I'm surprised that after all this time I cannot find it in the forum. I run XCloner via cron on a couple of WordPress sites, and every time, the emails start:
PHP Warning: include_once(__XCLONERDIR__language/english.php): failed to open stream: No such file or directory in [path redacted]/wp-content/plugins/xcloner-backup-and-restore/common.php on line 92PHP Warning: include_once(): Failed opening '__XCLONERDIR__language/english.php' for inclusion (include_path='.:/usr/share/pear:/usr/share/php/pear') in [path redacted]/wp-content/plugins/xcloner-backup-and-restore/common.php on line 92<b>Using configs/mycustomconfig.php as configuration file</b><br /><b>Starting [path redacted]/wp-content/plugins/xcloner-backup-and-restore/cloner.cron.php</b><br /><b>Starting XCloner for site [site URL] at [date and time]</b>PHP Warning: include_once(__XCLONERDIR__language/english.php): failed to open stream: No such file or directory in [path redacted]/wp-content/plugins/xcloner-backup-and-restore/common.php on line 92PHP Warning: include_once(): Failed opening '__XCLONERDIR__language/english.php' for inclusion (include_path='.:/usr/share/pear:/usr/share/php/pear') in [path redacted]/wp-content/plugins/xcloner-backup-and-restore/common.php on line 92<b>Using configs/mycustomconfig.php as configuration file</b><br /><b>Starting [path recated]/wp-content/plugins/xcloner-backup-and-restore/cloner.cron.php</b><br /><b>Starting XCloner for site [site URL] at 2014-09-19 23:05</b>
I want to stress that, so far, I've not seen any issues with the backups, but I thought you should be aware of this. Also, again, it happens on both of my sites, so it doesn't seem site specific.

You might need to edit the wp-content/plugins/xcloner-backup-and-restore/common.php and debug the first line on top
for some reason, the __XCLONERDIR__ is not getting defined.
I'd be happy to look more into this if you can open a support ticket and send me one of your site access details.

I put that line in and changed the backup to a daily backup. We'll see. Like I said, it doesn't seem to affect anything for some reason, as the backup still seems to restore OK.
Which directory is __XCLONERDIR__? Are there any special permissions needed on it? It could be that on hardened sites the permissions might need to be made an exception for.

Sorry for the delay, but this has been a busy week. Wasn't that line supposed to spit out more debugging messages? It seems that there is even less output than before.
I should mention that this is running from a cron job, BTW.
The permissions on the directory are 755, so I don't know what is going on.
The funny thing is that the backups seem to be working, at least the ones I've pulled down and put in a test directory.

I have to admit I'm a bit confused on what you are asking. It's a shared host, and it doesn't sound like they are going to give me access to the logs. While I was waiting on a reply from them, I poked around, and their email only confirmed that there is nothing really in the cron logs of value in the first place. The only customer accessible information is the email generated after the run.
From the cpanel, here is the cron command:
05 02 * * 6 /usr/local/bin/php [path to web server root]/wp-content/plugins/xcloner-backup-and-restore/cloner.cron.php mycustomconfig.php
The resulting email, after making the change you directed above:
<b>Using configs/mycustomconfig.php as configuration file</b><br /><b>Starting [path to web server root]/wp-content/plugins/xcloner-backup-and-restore/cloner.cron.php</b><br /><b>Starting XCloner for site [site URL] at 2014-09-25 23:00</b><br /><b>Creating a fullbackup</b><br /><b>Generating Backup ...</b><br /><b> Archive Name: backup_2014-09-25_23-00_[site URL]-sql-drop.tgz<br />Number of Files: 4596<br />Size of Original File: 550.38 MB<br />Size of Archive: 456.14 MB<br />Database Backup: <b>c[database name]:</b> Backup Completed ( 61.75 MB )<br />### END REPORT</b><br /><b>Backup Done</b><br /><b>Backup file: [path to web server root]/administrator/backups/backup_2014-09-25_23-00_[site URL]-sql-drop.tgz</b><br /><b>Total backup size:456.14 MB</b><br /><b><br />Deleting older backups than 14 days: </b><br /><b><br />ALL DONE! The only difference between now and then is the lack of PHP Warning on line 92.
