Install, error changing password, can't backup

Hi,
Evaluating xcloner, installed fine (uploaded & activated plugin), it says "Backup Ready" as NO. Only item in red is the admin password to be changed.
I tried that, but on click, it says :
An appropriate representation of the requested resource /wp-content/plugins/xcloner-backup-and-restore/index2.php could not be found on this server.
That file is there, with 755 perms (same as index.php).
Any help would be appreciated.

NB this is a cpanel host with wordpress 3.2.1.

If you have bulletproof security, please make sure you exclude the xcloner plugin directory from mod_rewrite as shown here http://wordpress.org.....ultisite , this should fix the 403 error you get there.
As for the red items items, simply create the administrator/backups/ directory inside your wordpress root directory, and see if it helps, please refer to the wordpress instal wiki from our site or online manual!
