Any help would be appreciated. XCloner indicates that all necessary paths and folders are accessible and readable and/or writable.

What version of Wordpress are you using? I can probably help faster if you can open a support ticket and send us the site access details to check the issue.

Ovidiu, I am using the latest version of WordPress, which is 3.8.1.
I am not sure how to open a support ticket, but I will look into it.
Also, I once donated $20.00. 🙂

Try switching the Backup Mode to Normal in XCloner Config and see if it helps! Ovidiu

Ovidiu, are you saying on the "Settings" page to choose the "System" tab, and then under "Backup Manual Process" to switch "Backup Refresh Mode" from "AJAX" to "Normal"?
After doing this, I saved the settings changes, and then went back to the main XCloner page and clicked on the "Generate Backup" button.
It then takes me to a page where I can exclude certain tables if I want to, or include the extra databases.
I then clicked the "Continue" button.
It takes me to a new page and begins a long list of the files that are being backed up, and ends with this at the top:
Total process: 100% out of 3674 files
Processing files 3600 to 3674 for backup file
/Applications/MAMP/htdocs/my-site/Blog/administrator/backups/backup_2014-03-14_13-14_www.my-site.net-sql-nodrop.tar!
Current backup size: 74.7 MB
Question: I did all of this manually. Will it continue to do this automatically every day, as it was doing before?

Looks good, to do this automatically, you need to setup a cronjob, mode details can be found in the XCloner menu->Cron submenu

Hi, I am also getting this same error
Problem is, when I try to change "Backup Refresh mode" to 'Normal' I
get the message "Config succesfully updated…" but it is not.
If I
change a value, like setting "Split Backup Archive if size larger
than:" that specific value is changed but not the "Backup refresh mode"
I am running Word Press 3.81
See errormessage and PHP info below
Do you have any idea what to check?

By upgrading to 3.1.1, I could change backup mode.
However, I now get the error
"There appears to be an unauthorized attempt from this site to access your database located at http://www.mysite.se. The attempt has been halted."
I do not get this when runnig with Ajax.
Any idea?
