Greetings,
I have installed Xcloner-backup-and-restore.3.0.3 on a wordpress 2.8.4 website.
I uploaded the plugin directory to wp-content/plugins directory and when I went to the website to login to Xcloner, the login page just refreshed and did not login.
I even tried adding $_CONFIG["jcpass"] = md5("my_new_pass"); at the end of the config file cloner.config.php just before line ?> and still just refreshes? And Yes, I changed "my_new_pass" to a new password to no avail? What am I doing wrong?

Hi there! You need to check if your sessions.save_path php.ini config option is a valid path and writeable, otherwise php sessions won't work and neither will the login, try and check that with your hosting support!

I had the same problem, exactly. They were on the same hosting as each other but although Xcloner worked with Wordpress it did not want to play with Joomla.
Solution? I reverted the password and user name back to their default admin and admin. Nothing else worked, not even resetting the password in the back-end and copying and pasting the details into the log-in box. By the way, why do you have a login to this app when you are already logged in. Could be seen as form of phishing, lol.

Hi Carl, to answer your last question, XCloner uses a separate login as it's code is running standalone, so for instance, even if your Wordpress site breaks, you can still access and login to XCloner by using the direct url to the plugin folder.
