OfflineHello,
I've used Xcloner on 4 or 5 different Wordpress sites along with a couple Joomla sites. I've never had issues restoring a site to Xampp like I'm having now.
I've been trying for days to get a new clients Wordpress site onto my local development server and have not been able to do it. I've tried everything and it just doesn't work.
Most of the time when I try to restore from localhost/xcloner.php I constantly get errors "Tar Error: Error while opening ..file path... in write binary mode. It then says the restore is complete...but it's not.
I extracting the backup, deleting the file it gives the error for, use 7-zip to make a new tar and try restoring. It will give me the write binary error for a different file. I repeated the process and each time I get the error for a new file.
It seems when I get that error it stops restoring files. When I look where the files were supposed to be restored it's usually missing folder like wp-admin or all the subfolders in wp-content.
Along with that, if when I click "Please click here to continue with database import" I get an error saying it cannot read the database. The file path it lists seems to have a double // instead of a single. Unable to read the database backup file F:/xampp/htdocs//administrator/backups/database-sql.sql , database was not imported!
If I extract all the files manually it will allow me to restore the database via the drop down select. BUT if I restore the site with the method nothing on the site works. It brings up the home page but there is no theme and you cannot navigate to any location on the site except the home page. I receive a page cannot be found error.
Can you provide any help to get the site working correctly? I've move several sites to my development server using xCloner and have never had an issue.
Thank you

OfflineFirst, you should check that the backup archive has the same size as on the original site, if not, i would suggest downloading using a ftp client.
Most of the errors you posted seem to be related to that, so see if that fixes it. Also, check the disk space on the original host to make sure the created backups are complete.
