Does the WordPress plugin support multisite backups? For instance, is it possible to backup just one site/blog in a multisite installation? What about backing up a single site and restoring it to a different site (where the table prefixes might have to be different)? Thanks

Hi Jessica! XCloner will backup all the files from your Wordpress root, and all the tables from your assigned wordpress database, so in short YES, it works with Wordpress MU version

To be clear - I've downloaded and installed XCloner for a WordPress 3.1 MultiSite network of sites - consisting of two simple test sites/blogs. I ran the backup without any trouble - I should now be able to restore this entire WordPress MultiSite installation using the XCloner restore script and be back in business - right?
I'm testing for the eventual launch of a production multisite.

HI Will, yes, this is what XCloner does, it keeps a full copy of your site database and files, and in case you need to restore them, simply use the restore script we provide(check our restore faq here) and follow the indicated steps to restore the backup data.

Ovidiu, does XCloner give the capacity to restore only one site in a multisite WP install? Or if one network site went down and needed restoring, would I have to restore the whole network?

For multisites, the restore option will restore the full backup, so if that included all sites then all of them will be restored. You can create partial backups of the multisite install by excluding the database tables related to each subsite.
