Hello everyone, i'm trying to move my wordpress site to a new server, but I can't move my files through the xCloner, because it says the connection failed.
If I created a backup with the x cloner, do I have to restore it using xCloner as well?
The perm.txt file. Is it used by the x cloner to recreate the permissions on a new server or what?

Hi there! The backup can be restored manually as well, please check our restore wiki last section, XCloner restore script is optional.
The perm.txt file is indeed unsed to restore permissions. Can you give us more details about the exact error message and at what step did you get it?
