I received the following error message whilst attempting a restore on another domain:

Fatal error: require() [function.require]: Failed opening required '/home/genmark/public_html/wp-includes/load.php' (include_path='.:/usr/local/php52s/pear') in /home/genmark/public_html/wp-settings.php on line 21

As anyone else ever experienced this type of output when trying to restore a Wordpress site?

Thanks,

DeswFrown

That usually means not all files got restore, check your backup archive and see of that missing file is present there, if yes, try and restore the backup archive manually and restart the restore process.

Ovidiu

I have checked the files and folders in the public_html and the "includes" folder is missing.
Should re do the backup and try again?

Thanks,

Desw

Have you checked if that folder is missing from the backup archive as well?

K, then better upload the backup archive contents manually and restart the restore process with "skip files restore" option checked!
