Hi, I used your product to move a wordpress site from one domain to another and it went really well, expect...

When I try to log into the new WP site admin, I'm takin to the old WP site admin.  I wanted to move the site so I can get rid of the temp dir I was doing my site testing on.

What did I do wrong?

Thanks in advance

Usually XCloner replaces the url also by adding a small code inside the wp-config.php file, can you check and see if that file was altered properly after restore with the new mysql details?

Well now I have a even bigger problem.  I read on another thread that if I went into the admin of the new blog that I could just change the url in the settings...well, that worked...so I thought.

When I logged into the new blog all looked like it was working correctly. Everything was pointing to the new blog, so I had Godaddy remove the old blog and now everything is gone.

I seems the new blog was still looking at the old DB and since Godaddy deleted the old blog - the new blog can't be accessed.

New blog site = http://www.phoenixin.....daily.com/

I still have the backup .tar file...can I get the site back with that? If so, how?

Simply redo the restore process and make sure you are using an empty database, once that is finished check the wp-config.php file and make sure it got updated with the new mysq details, if not , add them manually to the wp-config.php file.
