New to X-Cloner, and looks really good. I'm using it for WordPress, and wondering how I can restore a site if the current site is no longer accessible.

 

I created a site http://www.mysite.com/newsite/ I'm backing it up and want to restore it in place of http://www.mysite.com/ if that makes sense.

 

In Joomla I use Akeeba, which is real cool, as it gives you has an additional module called kickstart that's simple a small collection of files you can upload to unpack your backup and run the restore. Sorry, not comparing, but I'm looking for similar functionality for Wordpress.

Hi Randy, this restore FAQ should help, XCloner also provides you with a standalone restore script which can be used to restore the backup on any location.
