I used to use Xcloner on an old website (a few months back) and had a cron job set up through the Plugin "WP Crontrol." I used this execution code in the hook box:

 

wp_remote_get( 'http://mysite.com/wp-content/plugins/xcloner-backup-and-restore/cloner.cron.php?config=custom.php' );

This no longer works with a new Wordpress site I have. I'm not getting any errors anywhere, but when I look in the administrator/backups folder via ftp, it's empty. Any thoughts?

The cron command has been replaced with the CLI  format 

 

php /home/../pathto/cloner.cron.php myconfig.php

When I past the url into the browser I get this:

To run this script you need to create a custom config file inside XCloner Config, and call the script using php cli command 

How do I do this through Wordpress?

You will be required to have enabled the php exec or shell_exec function for this to work, or access to a server cron scheduler...
