I'm a new XCloner user and would like to know how I can copy backups to cloud storage (DropBox, Box, etc.). Any help is much appreciated. Thanks!

Right now, XCloner only supports ftp, sftp and amazon S3 automatic uploads, so for the other types, you would need to drop them in manually or with a custom script.

I'm also a bit confused about this. On your Home page it says, "Backup your website files and databases, send them to the cloud". However in the WP plugin settings it only appear to allow a path to a folder on the same server/account. How would I backup to a different server? Kind of defeats the purpose to store a backup on the same server if the drive fails or you cannot access the server...

Inside the XCloner cron config area there is a setting related to ftp server transfer which you can use, as well as the amazon S3 storage option...
