OfflineHi
Just installed the X-Cloner on a new Wordpress site and each time I save the configuration and 404 error appears. Hitting the browser back button returns me to the page where the I find that the configuration has been saved.
Site details are:
URL: http://www.andrewanderi.com/
Wordpress version: 3.0.5
php version: 5.2.14
Mysql version: 5.0.91
X-Cloner version: 2.2.1

Andrew

OfflineHi Andrew! Usually when saving config, XCloner makes a redirection to an internal url with a message, could you try and access the plugin directly as http://yoursite/wp-content/plugins/xcloner-backup-and-restore/ and try to save the config, can you check the url you get the 404 error for and post it here if possible?
Do you have any firewall or browser plugin that might be blocking that request?

OfflineJust noticed your other post where you mentioned Bulletproof security, it could be an issue related to the .htaccess security rules, try and disable the htaccess rewrite for the wp-content/plugins/xcloner-backup-and-restore/ folder and see if it helps

What you can easily do to fix it and leave that plugin enabled, is simple disable the rewrite rules for the wp-content/plugins/xcloner-backup-and-restore , we did that here by adding a .htaccess file in the xcloner folder with this code inside:
RewriteEngine Off
