A few, likely easy questions. Thank you.
- I've filled out the SFTP fields, but don't see any evidence of it trying to connect. Is there a log file somewhere?
- When forcing a manual backup, will Xcloner SFTP files too? It seems to only make a local archive.
- I'm assuming that just an IP address is fine for the "FTP Server" field and that FTP path can be just / or left empty if the home directory is to be used. Is this correct?
- Some way to test the SFTP connection during setup would be awesome.
So far this seems like a great backup solution. I've tried several others over the years (EZPZ, Backup Scheduler from sedLex). Backup is definately a weakness of WordPress and I'm grateful to developers who've taken the time to help address that. Thank you.

1. try and check the cronlog output of XCloner, it should help
2. yes, it will, make sure you activate that option in the Cron Config
3. use a ftp client to determine the correct ftp path, but / or no value will work
4. noted, i will make a dev note for this
Let me know if you have further questions! Ovidiu
