For some reason the tar files generated from my backups have been saving files with absolute paths.  As a result, when extracing them, I get a whole long folder tree with the files.  I haven't had issues with my site in a while so I'm not sure which which version this began for me.  Is there an option in the settings that controls whether the tar archive stores relative vs. absolute file paths?

Not a show stopper.  I had to extract the file locally and then FTP up the files to the correct location.  It's a workaround and I miss being able to just copy the php, tar and archive upto a folder and then restoring using the normal process.

Thanks in advance.

Great plug-in for wordpress!

JP.

Could you post  a screenshot of your XCloner Config first tab area?
