Hi:
I'm getting this error on several wordpress supported websites
There was an error retreiving the JSON data from the server, try again or contact the developers!
Details: error -- undefined
JSON url: index2.php?task=recurse_database&nohtml=1&dbbackup_comp=&dbbackup_drop=

Exactly the same error, there is a common point on all them, the hosting, do you know something about it?
PD: I've tried several options about reducing sql request, number of files....

HI Mark! From the looks of it, it might be that the server is blocking the request XCloner tries to make for JSON data, do you have any .htaccess rules or mod_security rules that might affect this url "index2.php?task=recurse_database&nohtml=1&dbbackup_comp=&dbbackup_drop=" ?
If so, you might want to disable the rewrite options from the XCloner plugin folder, or add that url as valid to the mod_security rules

Same issue, try and recheck the rules to see what is blocking that JSON url. If you like, you can switch the refresh mode to Normal in the XCloner Config System tab and see if it helps, it won't be as pretty as the JSON mode, but it should do the job 🙂

I am not using mod_security....
tried switching to NORMAL isntead of AJAX as indicated above:

Usually if Compression mode is enabled, the backup process will work much slower, so try and leave that option set to No and see if you have anymore issues with the AJAX mode. Also check the disk space available.
