When ever I try to backup, it get this error

There was an error retrieving the JSON data from the server, try again or contact the developers!

Details: parsererror — Invalid JSON: TAR error: Unable to open file 'sandbox/wordpress/wp-content/uploads/2012/12/What is this.txt' in binary read mode

{"backupSize":"90352128","percent":"90","option":"com_cloner","task":"refresh","json":"1","startf":2500,"lines":"2777","backup":"2013.1.18.tar","excl_manual":""}

JSON

url:

index2.php?option=com_cloner&task=refresh&json=1&startf=2400&lines=2777&backup=2013.1.18.tar&excl_manual=

Yes I have tried clicking retry, then I tried to exclude the

file, didn’t work, so then I made a file called where it was looking for one

and still same thing. Then I flat out deleted the file, still gives me the

error, Then I deleted the folder exact same error. I have also re-installed,

and it’s still says the file is there.  :/

Make sure you are looking into the correct directory, could you post here a screenshot from your ftp client that shows that file is not present in that directory? Usually you only get that error when the files exists and XCloner is unable to read it.

As a test I took all the contents of the folder and put them into a sub-folder, I ran the Backup again, Still says the file is in "sandbox/wordpress/wp-content/uploads/2012/12/What is this.txt'

OK, in this case set the "Backup mode" to Normal in your XCloner Config->System tab, you should be able to skip that error message!
