Ovidiu, while taking my first backup, I am getting error while unselecting the folders for backup. I am not getting the list of folders. The error appears is:

Error: Unable to write to file /.excl

I am not sure if there is any file permissions need to be done. Are there any files need special permissions?... Appreciate your support.

Thank you!

PS: Wish you and all the members of xcloner a Very Happy New Year! Hope this year will bring us all a great success on the web!

Hi Aryan, could you post here a screenshot after your XCloner Config->Info tab? The error you get there is probably related to the administrator/backups/ folder permissions, make sure they are writeable for the apache/server user running XCloner.

Happy New Year! Regards, Ovidiu

Appreciate your response on the first day of the year!

Yes, I tried giving the 777 permission to folder /(plugin path)/administrator/backups/

The screen shot of th error is as below:

and below is XCloner Config-> Info tab screen shot...

I need your suggestion, I can notice two things here

1- May be Php version mismatch, and

2- Temporary Folder (in red)

Awaiting your response!

regards,

Aryan

Seems the public_html/administrator/backups/ directory doesn't exist, you need to recheck that, feel free to post also a screenshot from your ftp client highlighting that path if you still have issues.

Ovidiu, the solution worked like a charm!

I was creating folder with just /backups and that too at a different location. I've taken backup and your plugin seems to be rocking!... brilliant support.

Thank you for your contribution to the WS community and users like me, we need people like you. I will be rating this plugin soon.

Cheers!

Aryan
