urgent help with backups

hi, I can't find a good backup plugin anywhere and used xcloner before to transfer a site and it worked great
I just tried on my one site to use as a backup, but it made a bunch of sets - all on the same day - I just need 1 set, when I make it - do I need to do something else?> I don't understand. did it timeout on the server or did something happen or what do I do?

XCloner has a size limit option that it used to overcome file size limits that exists on some systems, if you think your server does not have that, simply adjust the Backup Split option to a larger value in the XCloner Config->System tab, currently it's being set to 2GB.
