I connected to my other server through XCloner, but I'm getting this message.

Warning: ftp_nb_put() [function.ftp-nb-put]: /home/dir/dir/XCloner.php: No such file or directory in /home/dir/wp-content/plugins/xcloner-backup-and-restore/cloner.functions.php on line 756
FTP upload has failed for file /home/dir/XCloner.php ! Stopping ....

What does it mean?

Do i have to have wordpress and xcloner installed on a new server before moving?

The ftp upload path is wrong, please verify it with a normal ftp client, usually that is different from the full server path.

To make this a little more clear:  Try leave the Ftp directory: line blank.

 

It's not needed since the ftp authentication process dumps you in the home directory of that user.  Puting a path in the blank just confuses the ftp client.
